X® and XN®
PROFILE LANDING NIPPLES
XN® NOGO Profile Landing Nipples are designed for use in single nipple installations or as the bottom nipple in conjunction with a series of X® Profile Nipples. The profile nipples have the packing bore I.D. for a particular tubing size and weight. X® and XN® Profile Nipples are designed for use with standard weight tubing.
The 'N' nomentclature designates a no-go landing nipple, the features of which include an internal seal bore, full opening packing bore with locking recess at the top of the nipple and restricted no-go profile at the bottom. The reduced diameter profile is designed to prevent the tool or device to be set from passing through the nipple, thereby providing a no-go barrier to protect against a tool string being dropped or run below the tubing string.
